Concert poster for rapper Pharoahe Monch (Click here for entire story!)

In August I was honored to rock a concert poster for the talented Hip Hop artist Pharoahe Monch.
Universal Records seems to run on a weeks notice and this job was no exception. It was a pleasure to draw Monch in the real deal pharaoh outfit with some new school style. the hieroglyphs on the border are both Egyptian inspired and hip hop iconography. I captured his likeness and portrayed his theatric but classic style. Although I wasa out of town for the show I heard he he really liked to piece and it was a success.
